Terms of sale and license

Last updated: October 9, 2026

The short version: one purchase, 3 Macs at a time plus your iPhone, no subscription, and a refund within 14 days if Courant isn't for you.

1. About these terms

These terms govern the purchase of Courant licenses on courant.app and the use of the Courant software for Mac and iPhone (the “Software”), published by Wonderlink SL, NIF B10564698, España (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the Software, you accept them.

2. Our reseller

Orders placed on this website are processed by Paddle.com (“Paddle”), our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle sells you the license and handles payment, invoicing, taxes and refunds; Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

3. Free trial

You can use every feature of the Software free of charge for 7 days. When the trial ends, the Software can only be used with a license or an App Store purchase: without one, it only shows its purchase window. Your email is not affected: it stays in your Google account.

4. Your license

When you buy a license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and perpetual right to install and use the Software on up to 3 Macs at a time and on your iPhone, that you own or control, for your own use. You can move the license from one Mac to another whenever you like, from the Software or from courant.app. Activating a Mac needs an Internet connection; after that, the Software checks the license at most once a day when the Mac is online, and keeps working for up to 60 days offline. The license also unlocks the App Store editions (Courant for iPhone and for Mac) on the devices signed in to your Apple Account: the Software keeps the key in your iCloud for them, and they don't count among your 3 Macs. A company may buy licenses for its staff: one license per person. Updates we make available free of charge are covered by your license.

5. Your Google accounts

The Software works with your Gmail and Google Workspace accounts through Google's services. Your use of those services remains subject to Google's terms, and to your organization's rules for a Workspace account. We are not responsible for the availability of Google's services, or for changes Google makes to them.

6. What you may not do

  • Resell, rent or share your license key publicly.
  • Get around the license checks.
  • Decompile or reverse engineer the Software, except where the law expressly allows it.
  • Use the Software to send unsolicited bulk email.

7. Price and payment

The price (49,99 € or $49.99, taxes included) is shown before you pay, and it is charged once. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.

8. Delivery

Your license key is displayed right after payment and sent to you by email. By completing your purchase, you ask us to supply the Software immediately.

9. Refunds

If Courant isn't right for you, you can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase through our reseller Paddle: use the link in your receipt, or write to support@courant.app. The key of a refunded order stops working.

Full details: refund policy.

10. Right of withdrawal (European Union)

Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for purchases made at a distance. For digital content supplied immediately, this right ends once supply has started with your consent. Our 14-day refund policy applies in any case.

11. App Store edition

If you get Courant from the App Store (Courant for iPhone, or the Mac App Store edition), Apple's terms — including its standard license agreement — apply to that purchase, and refunds are handled by Apple. That purchase also unlocks the website edition on the Macs signed in to the same Apple Account, through iCloud, as a website license unlocks the App Store editions. A refunded purchase stops unlocking the other edition too.

12. Your email

The Software acts on your mailboxes at your request (archiving, deleting, sending, filters…), and these actions apply to your Google account. Actions in bulk are previewed before they run. Keep in mind that a permanently deleted email can't be recovered, by us or by Google.

13. Warranty

To the extent permitted by law, the Software is provided “as is”, without any warranty other than those required by law. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity.

14. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or where the law does not allow it.

15. End of the license

Your license ends automatically if you breach these terms, or if your purchase is refunded or charged back. The Software then asks for a license again, as at the end of the trial.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force on the day of your purchase applies to that purchase.

17. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring a claim before its courts.
